"I never heard of CRT before coming in for my last yearly eye exam. I read the brochure in the waiting area and this sounded interesting. As I have aged, wearing contact lenses has become increasingly harder to wear because my aging eyes could no longer see up close while wearing my lenses. I tried to wear bifocal contacts, but was not successful with this. Then I decided to just wear glasses for a year but still needed to remove these for up close vision. I had about decided I would have to go with bifocal glasses when I saw the CRT brochure. Again, I was unsure with the cost of CRT, but it was much cheaper than LASIK and I would spend it again because of the outcome. I LOVE not having to wear those glasses anymore and I believe my vision is better now than when I wore contacts or glasses. I have allergies which inhibits contact lens usage because of deposit build up and the lenses always became fuzzy though out the day. I no longer have this problem!! My last eye exam Dr. Kerby declared me 20/10 and called me eagle eyes. Also, one great side effect was that my close up vision was improved as well. My experience with Dr. Kerby was excellent. My schedule can be hard to work around and she even met me at the office for follow up visits before the office opened so I did not have to miss work. I sure did appreciate that. Yes, I definitely would recommend CRT and this office to everyone I know."

"I started into CRT lenses at the end of August and I LOVE THEM!!!! At first I was a bit skeptical since this is a relatively new technology, but the idea of going all day with no glasses or contact lenses was very appealing. I am not interested in LASIK surgery and the performance of it, so CRT seemed like a good alternative for me. The cost was cheaper too. I used Care Credit to finance my lenses and liked that I don’t have to pay interest if I pay my account off in 12 months.

The fitting process went smoothly for me. I liked that Dr. Melissa Kerby was willing to meet me according to my schedule. I only had one adjustment to my lenses until the CRT lenses were correct. My vision is now better with CRT then it was with glasses or contact lenses.

I am so convinced of the value of CRT that my 12 year old son, Bradley just recently started into the lenses himself. He wanted to be free of glasses so he would no longer look like a “geek.” He had not been a contact lens wearer in the past so I was worried about how he would be able to handle the lenses. He has done TERRIFIC!! Bradley is so happy to be free of glasses. It has also helped him in basketball and will be a big help in golf this summer.

I would definitely recommend this therapy to anyone who is afraid of LASIK but wants to be free of daytime glasses and contact lenses!"

"Since I have enrolled in the CRT program, my eyesight is better than when I wore my glasses or contacts, it is 20/15. It is convenient to only wear the contacts at night and not have to hassle with them during the day.

I have considered LASIK, yet I am not a good candidate because I am studying martial arts and one hit to the head could ruin the surgery. Although I was hesitant about the comfort of the contacts, since they are hard, after a couple of days I adjusted well to them.

The CRT lenses allow me a lot of freedom with my vision and I would definitely recommend them to my family and friends. I have been coming to Village Eye Care, Inc. since they opened and this process is just one more good experience I have had with them.
