Amber Luke
Optometric Technician and Apprentice Optician

Amber is an Optometric Technician for Village Eye Care. She grew up in Springboro, Ohio and graduated from Springboro High School. She is currently attenting college at Sincair and seeking her degree in nursing. As a optometric tech she performs pre-exam ocular testing. She is also very helpful with answering questions about insurance. Amber can help with eyewear selection and ocular measurements, as well as eyewear dispensing. In the front office she answers the phone, sets appointments and helps with check-out.



Destiny Noble
Optometric Technician and Apprentice Optician

Destiny is an Optometric Technician at Village Eye Care. She is from Lebanon, Ohio and graduated high school last spring. She is currently attending college courses, aiming for her BA in nursing.She is skilled at keeping the front office running smooth. Destiny answers the phone, sets appointments and assists in pre-exam ocular testing. She is also an apprentice optician in our office and can assist with frame and lens selection, adjustments and dispensing of eyewear. She will answer any and all questions regarding your insuance or eyecare needs.



Jenny Bentley
Office Manger
Licensed Spectacle and Contact lens Optician

Jenny is the office manger for Village Eye Care. She has worked in the optical field for eleven years. Within that time she has obtained her Ohio State Licenses for spectacles and contact lenses. By gaining her contact lens certification she is able to perform contact lens fittings,as well as, follow-up and care in our office. She is also our eyeshapers technician assisting with the fitting process and follow-up care. Jenny and her 10 year old son, Tyler, are both wearers of the lenses and can answer any questions pertaing to the process. With a wealth of information, Jenny can supply answers to all of your visual needs including eyewear selection, adjustments,contact lenses and insurance information.



Melissa S. Kerby, O.D.
Optometrist

Dr. Melissa Kerby serves as Optometric Coordinator for Village Eye Care, Inc. She grew up in Hillsboro, Ohio and performed her undergraduate studies at The Ohio State University and Wilmington College. She received her doctorate of Optometry degree in 1996 from The Ohio State University College of Optometry. During her training, she performed an externship at The United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD. Her duties were to provide optometric services to midshipmen, enlistees, and Officers of the Navy. Dr. Kerby provides primary eye care services to all members of the family. She also performs contact lens fittings for standard contact lenses as well as specialty contact lenses to correct astigmatism and presbyopia. She has a special interest in corneal reshaping, otherwise known as orthokeratology. She is listed on the ortho-k network and in May 2003 became certified in Corneal Refractive Therapy (CRT).



Michael D. Kerby, O.D.
Optometrist

Dr. Kerby is the President of Village Eye Care, Inc. He grew up in central Texas where he achieved his bachelor's degree from Texas A & M University. He received his Doctorate of Optometry degree in 1996 from The Ohio State University College of Optometry. During his training, he performed an externship at the Commonwealth Eye Center in Lexington, KY. Dr. Kerby provides primary eye care services for the whole family and has a special interest in the role of nutrition in maintaining eye health. Dr. Kerby also performs contact lens fittings of standard contact lenses as well as specialty contact lenses which correct astigmatism (toric and rigid gas permeable) and presbyopia (bifocal contact lenses). Dr. Kerby practices corneal reshaping and in May 2003 became certified in Corneal Refractive Therapy (CRT).



Rebecca Cordrey
Optometric Technician and Apprentice Optician

Rebecca is an Apprentice Optician at Village Eye Care. She has been working in the optical field for five years. She will assist in frame selection, eyewear adjustments, ocular measurements, and dispensing of eyewear. Rebecca can also assist in pre-exam ocular testing. She is very informative and will answer all questions regarding your insurance plans. Rebecca strives to conduct proper patient assessment to meet all of your eye care needs.



Terri Jacobs
Optometric Technician and Billing Specialist

Terri is a Optometric Technician for Village Eye Care. She resides here in Lebanon with her family. She began her career in the optical field at Eye Associates of Iowa in her home town of Iowa City. Terri started with us as a tech doing everything from answering the phones, setting appointments, and pre-exam ocular testing. She also has plenty of expierence with frame selection and adjustments. Terri has transfered to our billing department. She specializes in insuance claim submission and payments.



Tiffinie Wheeler
Licensed Optician

Tiffinie is a Licensed Dispensing Optician for Village Eye Care. She began her optical training working for Cincinnati Eye Institute as an Ophthalmic Technician. She has been working in the field for over seven years in which she abtained her Ohio State Opticians License. Tiffinie grew up in Ross, Ohio and currently resides in Lebanon. She is very helpful and can assist with questions about eyewear selections, adjustments, and ocular measurements. Tiffinie is also trained with contact lenses, and can instuct patients pertaining to lens insert and removal classes. She is very knowledgable about all general eyecare and insurance questions.
